The history of Azienda Artigiana Gioielli Tassone, founded by Alberto and Laura Tassone, had its start in Cuneo in 1979, but its experience goes back much further.
Alberto Tassone started shaping his career in Valenza Po at the Institute of Goldsmith Art, where he achieved the title of “expert appraiser”; after school he had the opportunity to work with a greatly valued artisan in the field, where he was able to learn and acquire his technical capacity.
In 1964 Alberto started his own independent business in his laboratory while even making jewellery for huge names in the business like Damiani, Bulgari and Cartier. In the time period spent in Valenza, he also taught at the Goldsmith Institute Valenzano for eight years, making his competences and his complete vision of jewellery making processes available to all the students.

 

 

Fifteen years later, a rather unique choice! The return to Cuneo and opening of a laboratory-jewellery store together with his wife Laura; a space for creation as well as for direct and private sales. From that point on, the reference has always been in Cuneo, Piazza Europa.
The goldsmith laboratory Tassone has obtained the prestigious brand acknowledgement “Craftsman Excellence”, a distinctive mark that the Piedmont Region attributes to artistic craftsmanship of quality.
The tradition of the Gioielli Tassone laboratory carries on as Alberto and Laura Tassone’s  inheritance was passed down to their daughters Cinzia and Flavia.
From 1992 to 1999 Cinzia had worked as a goldsmith designer in Valenza and after finishing both schools in Valenza (I.S.A. Institute of Goldsmith Art and FOR.AL. Professional Goldsmith Institute) in only five years, she worked in the family business as a designer. Furthermore, after receiving her college degree in  Business Administration in 1999, Cinzia has progressed to become the marketing manager which includes duties such as dealing with shows, expositions and competitions as well as dealing with customer- supplier relationships.
Next ly, even the youngest daughter Flavia entered into the family business. After achieving a diploma in Gemmology I.G.I. (Italian Gemmology Institute), she sharpened her gemmological skills and knowledge at Valenzian companies Monile and Crova, and then at the Roman head office of Bulgari. She is currently working in the family business as manager of the gem laboratory in addition to working side by side with her sister in running the business.
The company Gioielli Tassone can count on its employees who also have a lot of experience and contribute together with the owners in the growth and development of the business.
